The Old House Network is a nonprofit educational gathering of old house lovers. We teach people how to care for houses built before 1950 by hosting workshops and seminars.
The Great Unveiling is one of our most satisfying events of the year.
Ever wondered what is under the vinyl, or metal or fiber siding on an old house? Once a year, during Preservation Month in May, Old House Network members swarm over an old house and strip it down to the original wood. We need volunteers to climb scaffolding with crowbars (and safety glasses) and folks on the ground to clean up. Watch this page for details. And if you have a home that needs to be "unveiled" contact us.

MARCH 19, 2011
Our long-term plan for the Old House Network calls for spreading the word throughout Michigan - so this year we are heading out to Grand Rapids. The Fountain Street Church will host our 6th annual Expo on Saturday March 19th from 9-4. Our keynote speaker will be Matt Grocoff of www.greenovation.tv - check out his net zero energy house in the Ann Arbor historic district on his website.

Watch this space for more details. We are looking for speakers on "do-it-yourself" and "when to hire the pro" topics - and vendors for the vendors hall. If you are interesting in speaking or being in the vendors hall, contact Sharon at ohn@oldhousenetwork.org
